- Decorative or Rainscreen Insulated
The wall cladding systems available from Facade Systems are based on the rainscreen concept. A Rainscreen system is designed to function as a rear-ventilated, open jointed cladding which allows the inclusion of an insulation layer to be located on the outer face of the building shell. Rigorous independent testing underpins the performance capabilities of the cladding system which includes durability, strength, water penetration management, fire, impact and low maintenance needs.
The external cladding can be either aluminium panel, clay tile, ceramic granite panel or planted panels. They are all available in a range of colours and finishes suitable for commercial, industrial and residential developments. With most types of construction being accomodated including concrete, timber and steel framed buildings.

The ALUCOVERING rainscreen system from MOCO is the most comprehensive and technologically advanced architectural solution for facades using Aluminium facings. The profiles are extruded from 2m thick Aluminium alloy, up to 300mm in height and up to 6500mm in length. The panels are powder coated to an minimum of 80 microns from a choice of over 250 RAL colours, including several veneered finishes. The material conforms to the Standard EN AW 6060 T6 and in accordance to quality standard ISO 9002/94. The profiles are available in five patterns to give your building a unique visual effect:flat grooved, undulated, curved and crenellated.
Furthermore, a wide range of timber-like finishes are available. As opposed to natural timber, the timber effect colour and finish will not fade with time and it is easier and cheaper to maintain. The system has been used on a wide range of commercial buildings: offices, hotels and retail in the UK and Italy. Recent projects completed in the UK include the Dakota Hotel in Farm Borough, London, recently voted "Sexiest Hotel in the UK".
